Jacobs Hill

Jacobs Hill consists of three elevator-equipped buildings with 102 rental units for low income elderly and frail elderly, and 58 market rate condos for residents over 55 years of age. Centrally located off Route 6, this new community boasts a shared clubhouse with a pool, community gathering area, computer and TV room, and a lounge. Funding was provided by the Federal Low-Income Housing Credit Program, J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, Lend Lease Mortgage Capital, and Westchester County's New Homes Acquisition Fund.
James Varick Affordable Homes
Westchester County
James Varick Affordable Homes in Mount Vernon consists of 16 two-family townhouses. Each home has a three-bedroom owner's unit and a two-bedroom rental unit. A first-time homebuyer family occupies the owner's unit with an income range of 60%-80% of Westchester Area Median Income (AMI). Rental units are occupied by families with incomes up to 60% of the Westchester AMI. Funding sources include DHCR, NYS Affordable Housing Corporation, the City of Mount Vernon, and Westchester County.
Scotts Ridge

Scotts Ridge is the first affordable housing development for seniors in Pound Ridge. Two buildings sit on six acres of natural landscaping and are designed for accessibility to encourage independence. Each floor features a common kitchen and laundry room designed to accommodate residents with wheelchairs and individuals with hearing and sight impairments. Funding was provided by the Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program, Westchester County, Leviticus 25:23 Alternative Fund, the Federal Home Loan Bank and private sources such as the Pound Ridge Community Church, the Abram and Ray Kaplan Foundation, Dorothy Nelson, and the Enterprise Foundation.
Smith-White Senior Residence
Westchester County
The Ida Smith-Margaret White Senior Residence in the Village of Sleepy Hollow is a 65-unit, nine-story building for low and very low-income frail elderly. Funded by the NYS Housing Trust Fund Program, Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program and Westchester County. The development includes an emergency alarm system in each unit, a large community room and a community kitchen. There is also an elevated terrace and striking views of the Tappan Zee Bridge.
West End 2000 Phase 1
Westchester County
West End 2000, Phase 1 in New Rochelle is the new construction of 25 single-family duplex townhouses sold to families at or below 80% of Westchester AMI. Funding was provided by the Affordable Housing Corporation, HUD, NYS HOME Program and Westchester County's New Homes Land Acquisition Fund. An additional 102 assisted living units for seniors was constructed for families at or below 60% of Westchester AMI. Funding was provided by NYS Homes for Working Families Program, 4% as-of-right credit through the Federal Low-Income Housing Credit Program, tax-exempt bond financing from the New Rochelle Industrial Development Agency, HUD Special Grant, NYS Energy Research and Development Authority and McKinney Act funds. Families who were involuntarily displaced will have first preference at this urban renewal site.
Jared Holt Mews Townhouses

These new two-story townhouses were designed with historically accurate details that meet National Historic District guidelines. Each townhouse features one of seven distinctive facades and has its own private entrance and patio or deck. Units feature Energy Star appliances and high- efficiency HVAC system, windows and lighting.

This three-story building contains 140 rental units of mixed income senior housing, a fitness and community center, wireless internet, a homecare facility, and computer lab and library.

Meadow Ridge II overlooks Meadow Ridge I, an equally beautiful housing complex built for working families. 52 beautiful and affordable rental units for low-income senior citizens in picturesque Dutchess County. Meadow Ridge recently won a "Project of the Year Award" from the New York State Association for Affordable Housing.

This beautifully renovated Victorian in the Cornhill section of Utica is an important part of the revitalization and rebuilding of Utica neighborhoods. This home is one of seven refurbished buildings that make up the Kembleton development. Together, they provide 27 affordable apartments for area families.
Kembleton is a partnership between DHCR, the City of Utica and Housing Visions, Inc.

Originally the site of a family lodge and hotel, today Pollack Gardens provides supportive housing for 50 individuals with special needs. The development has rejuvenated what was once considered a blighted neighborhood.
Rochester Civic Housing

This $13.5 Million dollar rehabilitation was originally built in the late 1940's as rental housing for returning veterans. Today it consists of 516 units in 54 town houses with new windows, roofs, kitchens and baths.

Brookview Commons - Deer Park
